Installing bulkheads

After the cabin posts were in place, the interior bulkheads were installed.

The bulkhead at the forward end of the centerboard trunk will also be used as a table support. There will be a 50 gallon water tank built in under the counter in the head, and a 30 gallon tank under the galley counter.

I fastened the bulkheads at the water tanks with cloth tape and epoxy. The other bulkheads are fastened to cleats on the hullside. In the picture, you can see the baffles for the port water tank. The inside of the tanks will be sheathed with cloth and epoxy.
