Two pieces of 1/4" plywood were butted together and taped on one side with fiberglass and epoxy. Then the whole piece
was glued on to the roof frame with the tape on the bottom. The top was then sheathed with one layer of cloth and epoxy.
The lower rub rails were scarfed from 1 1/2" by 3/4" pine, and then screwed in place. The upper rub rails were 3/4"
by 7/8" pine.
The outboard, a 25 HP Mercury Bigfoot Four Stroke, was bolted to the transom, and the controls and steering were hooked up.
