The forehatch was cut out, and a double coaming was made, so the hatch will be water tight.

The aft decks were glued in place, and the decks and motorwell were sheathed with Zynole cloth and epoxy.

After lots of filling and sanding, the hull and foredeck were painted using an airless sprayer and latex paint. Note...do not try to use a sprayer for horizontal surfaces, as the sprayer tends to drip.
