Travel log

11/19 To mile 179, intercoastal. Just west of Pensacola. My favorite harbor sas blocked off to power boats, had to anchor behind spoil island, nice spot, except it was deep enough for other boats.

11/21 To mile 253, East end of Choctawhatchee bay. Nice and calm. Got 24 gallons gas in Ft Walton Beach.

11/22 To mile 324. Nice calm day, tried to get as many miles in as I could. Friday is supposed to be rainy. Anchored in narrow side creek.

11/23 To Apalachicole, FL. Light rain at first, heavy rain after I anchored.

11/30 To Dog Island. Cloudy with drizzle. Anchored with 5 trawlers getting ready to cross to Steinhatchee.

12/1/01 Tried to leave harbor before the sun came up, parked on a shoal with a rapidly falling tide. Tried to push off, but had to stay for the day. Got to wave  to the other boats as they left.

12/2 To Steinhatchee. A little breezy early, then became calm.

12/3 to Cedar Key. Light winds. Cedar Key is still the same.

12/7 To Anclote Key. A little breezy at first, then calm. Anchored in shallow water between islands.

12/10 To Sarasota. Nice day, around 80. Got 30 gallons gas.

12/11 To Cayo Costa. Nice day, didn't have to wait long for any bridges.

12/12 To Fort Myers Beach.
