ICW Southbound

10/4 To Mile 53, lots of snowbirds heading south. Got 24 gallons gas. Bonehead in lock asphyxiated me by running his engine while locking through.

10/5 To mile 104, nice light NE breeze for crossing abermarle sound.

10/6 To Bellhaven, stocked up on food from dollar store.

10/7 To Mile 182, Oriental. Nice and calm. Rainy and cloudy for a few days. Visited Tom Lathrop, stayed at his dock one night.

10/10 To Mile 204, Beaufort SC. Cloudy, a bit of rain early.

10/13 To mile 270, nice and sunny. Got 32 gallons gas. Anchored in nice shallow creek.

10/14 To Mile 295, Carolina Beach. Rainy off and on all day.

10/15 Strong North wind, stayed put.

10/16 to mile 342, anchored in spot that says 7 feet on chart, barely two feet deep.

10/17 To mile 403, Georgetown, nice day, calm. Stayed in Georgetown for wooden boat show, great time.

10/19 To mile 439, nice an calm day. Got 36 gallons gas.

10/20 To mile 472, Stono River, Charlston. Another nice calm day.

I got lazy and neglected to update this site after leaving Charlston.  I did get back to Ft Myers Beach in November.
